Description
This piece is an exploration of the vibrancy and dynamic forms found within the natural world, specifically through the lens of fruit as a subject. I have used a kaleidoscope of vivid colors to breathe life into an abstracted still life, where each stroke is laden with the weight of emotion and intention. My aim was to blend the boundaries between the familiar and the fantastical, encouraging the viewer to find joy and curiosity in the interplay of shapes and hues.
The impasto technique, with its rich, tactile textures, allows the canvas to become a topography of my creative process. I’ve intentionally juxtaposed bold, impassioned strokes of purples and greens against the softer, more delicate applications of pinks and blues, crafting a visual symphony that dances across the canvas.
